Honig Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 $49.95 ONE WEEK ONLY (SHELF PRICE $65)
Dill-laced oak and dried currant and black cherry form a rich, tight, complex core of flavors that give this a tight focus and long, persistent finish. Drink now through 2013. WINE SPECTATOR
Vivid nose of ripe black cherry and red berries, with cedar, brush and spice. Medium-heavy tannins are nicely integrated with the fruit and oak. Long, generous finish. JANCIS ROBINSON
95% Cabernet, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc. The fruit for this wine comes from both our sustainably farmed vineyard in Rutherford and from local Napa Valley vineyards. Each vineyard block was harvested and made into an individual lot representing that block. The wines were pressed off the skins from 10 to 23 days after crushing. Blending generally takes place between January and April of the year following harvest and the wine is aged for 18 months.www.honigwine.com buy online
